Maureen Winzig - Art Exhibit and Reception
On Saturday, October 21st, 2:00 – 5:00pm, the H-Art Gallery at Steel Imaginations will present an artist’s reception for “ACHE”, an exhibit of 3D interactive art by Peekskill-based artist Maureen Winzig. Meet the artist and interact with your own reactions on paper. Refreshments will be served.
This show will run Oct 12th – Nov 11th, 2023.

Two art receptions and more open studios!! At the Flat Iron Gallery, Pauline Jackson’s painterly quilts depicting local scenes and at Body Axis Studio, new paintings by Ross Chambers.
Browse, shop and chat with the artists all in one building. In the gallery and studios you’ll find fine art, jewelry, stained glass, pottery, ornaments, decorative items. My studio is at 105 S. Division St, Peekskill, 10566. I'm on the 2nd floor in the Flatiron Building right above the Peekskill Coffee House. Join me and several other artists as we open our doors for this fantastic annual event!

Painting, Poetry & Music

Come see some performance art on the street as artists respond to poetry read aloud. As the poet reads their poem, the artist will paint what they heard in the words. The poet stops, the artists continue while a musician interprets what they see and hear. 2 artists for each poet. 3 poets. Food and drink are available at the Bean Runner Cafe.
I will be responding to poet Paul Stark as he reads about his battle with cancer at around 3pm.
To Have and Hold

I'm so pleased to present my newest watercolor series. It's a set of nine small works that touch an intimate part of the heart ~ touch. This pandemic world has made it hard to have your loved ones near and hold them close. I paint what I dream and I dream of a world where people embrace with abandon!
One third of all sales will go to feeding Ukrainians in need.
